David Oase - CPA
David Oase lived in Tucson as a younster before his family moved to Tennessee. He returned in 1985 to attend the University of Arizona, and Tucson has been his home ever since. He graduated from the U of A in 1989, became a CPA in 1993, and in 1997 he earned his securties license. David took control of the family business in 1992 and has expanded his company to better meet the needs of his clients. Along with income tax preparation and accounting services for small businesses, David helps his clients with forming corporations, LLCs, and budgeting. In addition is a member of Oase Financial Services LLC a registered investment advisor firm.
Annette Stevens - CPA
Annette began working for her father, Ken Oase, in his accounting firm, The Tax Man, in 1981. She graduated from Santa Rita High School in 1983 and worked her way through college until in 1985, she moved to Florida. She received her Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Central Florida in 1989.
In 1990, she moved back to Tucson with her family and continued working for The Tax Man. In 1990, she incorporated the business as the Oase-Stevens Corp. And from 1991-1993 she worked for David Cutler, CPA to satisfy the AICPA experience requirement. She received her CPA license in 1991.
She currently performs general accounting concentrating on corporations, partnership and individual tax returns. In addition, she provides QuickBooks on-site consulting to assist our clients who prefer to do their own bookkeeping.
Roslynn Whitman - Bookkeeper
Lynn was born in Pasadena California and moved here in 1994 for our clean air and family-friendly environment. She worked for 16 years in banking before beginning her employment with David Oase CPA, PC in 1995. All her life she has been in customer service and absolutely loves it. Lynn has been happily married for 16 years and is a mother of two. Her husband works for the Union Pacific Railroad as a conductor and loves it. Her daughter wants to do intelligence in the army and has one more year at ASU. She has a full scholarship in the ROTC program. Also her son is going to ITT Tech for graphic design. He recently married his high school sweetheart and they are both very happy. Lynn%u2019s hobbies include collecting antiques, little multicolor liquor glasses, as well as being a distributor for Tupperware.
Carol Ryberg - Bookkeeper
Carol was born in Lynwood California and moved here to our beautiful town when she was 4. She was an executive assistant for a probate lawyer for 5 years, but soon discovered that her true joy is customer service. She has done bookkeeping for 24 years, and the last 6 of those have been here at David Oase CPA, PC. Carol is a mother of two and grandmother of one. One of her daughters is going to school to become a massage therapist. And her other daughter is an artistic homemaker taking care of her family and brightening up her life with arts and crafts. She is also going to school for real estate with Carol. While being a wonderful mother to her two daughters, she raised quarter horses for 10 years. Carol's hobbies include horse riding and loving animals.
